Galway’s Waterways

Galway’s waterways are not only rich in history but also offer breathtaking beauty. Along our route, you’ll witness stunning scenery of the River Corrib and the surrounding landscapes. Along the city’s many canals, keep an eye out for those swans gliding gracefully on the water.

We do not have a regular schedule for the Waterways tours in place yet. If your group are interested in this local heritage tour, please leave us a message.

Celtic Revival Tours

Ireland’s Gaelic Literary and Celtic Revival period occurred toward the end of the 19th Century and into the first two decades of the 20th Century. These Half-day tours take in three Galway regional locations associated with this revival period. Thoor Ballylee is a fascinating building linked with WB Yeats. The nearby Coole Park was for many years the home of Anglo-Irish dramatist, Lady Gregory and lastly, St Brendan’s Cathedral Loughrea is a ‘treasure trove’ of Celtic revival art.
